Mike grew up in Pontiac, Michigan and is a graduate of Pontiac Central High School.  He holds an undergraduate degree from Western MIchigan in Mathematics, an associates degree in Data Processing from Oakland Community College and a masters degree in Recreation and Parks Administration from Central Michigan University.  Mike taught high school mathematics at Sterling Heights High School after graduation.  Mike retrained himself in computers after being laid off from teaching.  He has also taught computer programming at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Oakland Community College. 

Mike currently works for HP.  He has been with EDS / GM / HP since 1981.  His work has allowed him travel across the US and the world.   

One of Mike’s greatest passions is his family.  The family is based in Michigan, Wisconsin and Florida.   Being the family “photographer” has allowed Mike the opportunity to take many family pictures.
